中文摘要 | 本研究是探討技術學院校長領導風格與教師工作滿意度之關係。研究工具為「領導行為描述問卷」及「明尼蘇達滿意問卷」。受試者為醒吾技術學院全體專任教師287名,回收有效問卷140份,回收率48.78%。採用二因子變異數分析、積差相關、及多元逐步迴歸分析等進行資料分析。 研究結果發現:(1)校長領導風格偏向於「高倡導高關懷」的領導;(2)校長領導風格中以關懷型的領導對教師的工作滿意度具有最大的預測力;(3)校長表現「高倡導高關懷」的領導,教師工作滿意度會較高;(4)校長領導風格與教師工作滿意度具有顯具正相關;(5)教師之服務年資與倡導型領導在教師工作滿意度上有顯著交互作用存在;(6)教師指出領導者的特質是公平一致、支持部屬及善於溝通協調者。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of the study was to examine the relationship between presidential leadership styles and faculty at Hsing Wu College. The instruments sued were the Leader Behavior Description Questionnaire (LBDQ) and the Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ). Out of population of 287 full-time faculty members, 140 surveys were returned (48.78%). Inferential statistics, including two-way analyses of variance (ANOVAs), Pearson Product-Moment Correlation, and stepwise multiple regression, were performed to answer the study’s research questions. Following are the conclusions form the present study: (1) the president is perceived by the faculty to be strong in both Initiating Structure and Consideration leadership styles, (2) the Consideration leadership style most significantly predicted faculty job satisfaction, (3) presidents whose leadership styles emphasize both high Initiating Structure and high Consideration foster faculty job satisfaction, (4) presidential leadership styles and faculty job satisfaction are strongly connected, (5) significant interaction and total effects were found for job satisfaction between Initiating Structure and length of service, (6) faculty believe that good leaders are fair and consistent, supportive of subordinated, and are good at communicating and coordinating. |
