中文摘要 | 本研究目的想了解中強度運動後,全穀類飲食補充血液生化值與骨骼肌葡萄糖轉運子(glucose transporter subtype 4, GLUT4)基因表現之效應。八名非運動選手之受試者(年齡20.7 3.1歲,身體質量指數23.28 1.65 kg m^2,最大攝氧量47.3 2.9 mL/kg/min)接受60分鐘70-75%最大攝氧量運動,運動後先後接受禁食或全穀類飲食試驗處理。在運動後即時及3小時,分別進行骨外側肌肌肉穹刺,肌肉樣本供葡萄糖轉運子訊息核糖核酸(mRNA)分析。剛運動後至3小時,每30分鐘抽血一次,血液樣本供葡萄糖、胰島素、乳酸和游離脂肪酸之分析。運動後全穀類飲食血糖、胰島素濃度明顯高於運動後禁食之濃度;運動後全穀類飲食血乳酸和游離脂肪酸濃度明顯低於運動後禁食之濃度。運動後全穀類飲食補充則向下調節葡萄糖轉運子基因表現(p<0.05)。運動後全穀類飲食補充顯示會:(1)加速運動後血乳酸的清除,(2)提升血液葡萄糖、胰島素濃度,(3)向下調節運動後人體骨骼肌GLUT4基因表現。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of postexercise whole grain cereal supplementation on blood biomarkers and skeletal muscle GLUT4 (glucose transporter subtype 4) gene expression. Eight untrained subjects (aged 20.7 3.l years; body-mass index (BMI) of 23.28 1.65 kg/m^2 peak oxygen consumption of 47.3 2.9 mL/kg/min) participated in two separate trials which included fasting and supplementation of whole grain cereal after cycling at 70%-75% VO2 peak oxygen consumption for 60 mins. Muscle samples for GLUT4 mRNA were taken immediately and 3 hours after the exercise for GLUT4 mRNA analysis. Blood samples were obtained immediately after the exercise and every 30 minutes during 3 hours recovery for glucose, insulin, lactate and free fatty acid assays. GLUT4 gene expression was reduced when the whole grain cereal was given immediately following the exercise. Blood glucose and serum insulin concentrations were significantly hi gher in the whole grain cereal trial than those in the fasting trial. In contrast, Plasma lactate and serum free fatty acid concentrations were significantly lower in the whole grain cereal trial than those in the fasting trial. Our findings suggest that ingestion of whole grain cereal during postexercise recovery may (1) enhance the clearance of blood lactate; (2) elevate the levels of blood glucose and serum insulin; (3) down regulate GLUT4 gene expression in exercised human skeletal muscle. |
