中文摘要 | 中國歷來多主命定說。墨子的時代,「暴王」、「窮人」、「非仁者」之流倡「命定」說,造成道德淪喪、禮節蕩然不存;國家刑政大亂,政治社會混亂敗壞。墨子「非命」論,是針對當時的時弊而倡,也是從「天志」的思想生發出來。為了推介「非命」論,墨子特立「三表法」,從聖王的事蹟、書籍;眾人的耳目視聽;以及實際的效用種種方法來證明無命。墨子並非不解儒家原始命義,他所反對的是放棄人事的宿命論,因此墨子所非之「命」,和儒家所指涉的命義不盡相同。為避免由「命定」說所滋生的弊害,墨子提出「強力哲學」以對應,「力」就是墨子命義的全部內涵。墨子「非命」論,不僅於先秦之際具針砭矯治思想之效;即便至今日,亦具肯定人為價值、建構新人生觀之現代意義。 |
英文摘要 | Fatalism has always been held in china. In Moutz era, tyrant, the poor and the people without Kindness were fatalists. It resulted in immoral, impolite and chaotic society. Moutz’s Anti-Fatalism was directing against the fatalistic problems of the era. It was developed from his theory of Heaven Will (天志). To introduce the theory of Anti-Fatalism, Moutz explained it by The Three Method, which supplied proof of anti-fatalism from the deeds and books of wise emperors, the seeing and hearing of people and the practical effects. However, Moutzdid realize the primitive meaning of Confucian concept of Ming (命), he objected to the Fatalism of not doing one’s best. The Fatalism, against by Moutz, was different from the Ming of Confucian. To avoid the mal-practices of the Fatalism, he postulated the philosophy of “Chyang-Lih”, “Lin” (力)was the concept of Ming of Moutz. Moutz’s anti-Fatalism had corrected the mal-practices in the Pre-China era. Until now, it has the modern meaning of Humanism and new outlook on life. |
