中文摘要 | 黑格爾的精神現象學講意識底自覺歷程:由(自然的)意識而自我意識而理性之發展。平常的或自然的是一覺物之物識,自我意識是覺我之我識,理性是覺如之思智(玄思之智)。物識覺物而不自覺,執於物而有其法執。我識覺我而自覺,卻執於我而有其我執。理性覺物而自覺,且覺法我二執而思以解之,以令物我皆如、思有同一。識之用依於知性,智之用依於理性。精神是此二用之體。知性分解,性就分解而綜和:二用既同其體,轉識成智乃可能。唯格以須有此轉?為顯真實故。識與智既是精神底用,故轉識成智是精神底自轉自成,是精神底自覺(自我認識、自我實現、自我肯定,於過程中亦必我否定)之課題。意識從錯誤中學習,在學習中升進,而現象學便是意識底學養(Bildung)之歷程。就知識言,精神現象學由呈述現象知識而進至絕對知之概念。現象乃精神所顯現者,為意識(精神底直接的存在)自身底經驗或諸形態。精神現象學之呈述是批判的預備,構成哲學體系(在黑格爾則是其《哲學全書》所代表的哲學體系)之引導:指引意識底經驗之發展,且導出發展過程中之諸環節(意識底諸形態)。唯其道路是懷疑與險阻之途。經懷疑而自覺,越險阻以返本,精神底提升也;於哲學首先須轉識成智,此則精神底現象學之事。精神現象學辯證開顯地達致哲學(絕對如)底概念,此概念之開展是哲學之體系。 |
英文摘要 | Where philosophical wisdom is concerned, enlightenment consists in the elevation of the human mind to the state of having intellectual insights into truth and reality. The present essay expounds the Bildung (cultivation) of such an Erhebung (elevation) vis-á-vis Hegel’s Phänomenologie des Geistes. Hegel maintains that the Aufhebung (sublimation) of “understanding” in “reason” is requisite for absolute knowledge or philosophical comprehension. Devoted to the work of spirit, the human consciousness calls for self-examinations on the way to comprehending truth and reality, to spirit’s realization of itself as spirit. The Bildung of the human mind, as great learning experience via doubt, criticism, and even despair, is in itself spirit’s self-development progressing to the standpoint of philosophical knowing. Thereupon can the system of philosophy being to establish itself in the form of dialectical and speculative thinking. With the dynamic of Aufhebung and the leitmotiv of Erhebung, the intellectual course is thus running form phenomenology to philosophy. |
