英文摘要 | Owing to the highly contagious, severe and deadly nature of SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) epidemic, the Center for Disease Control Taiwan planned and setup an epidemic information and control call center, open to the public, in a very limited time for the purposes of both information gathering and situation control. The CDC Epidemic Situation announcing and Enquiring Call Center Application System was developed in support of the operation of this call center, The system is responsible for recording populace’s enquiries, reporting SARS cases back to CDC, dissemination of preventive information about SARS, follow-up processing, hardcopy printing, gathering and other administrative works. To beef up security, authentication mechanism, authorization management, and data management are added. The system is a web-based application, thus easy to develop, deploy, and maintain, that provides simple and friendly user interface. |
