中文摘要 | 玄學的核心問題為構通儒道,而以有無、本末為立論基點,一般推正始時期的何晏、王弼之注《老》、《易》、《論語》時所標的「貴無」、「崇本」論為玄學的典範議題,然在何、王之前,已有劉邵在檢別人物時提出了「徵質」、「明性」及聖人中和平淡、純德自然、乘高玄路的思維方法與內涵,從《人物志》深入歸納,由〈九徵〉到〈體別〉到〈流業〉,代表質、性、形的次第展開,再述才與理、材與能、能與任、任與政的關係,又論觀人的方法與易犯之錯誤,終分析謙下之德,以為人物之圓成,無不尋流照源,研精一理。本文透過劉邵人物論之結構分析,追蹤《人物志》影響於玄學之命題,以定其「先玄學」的地位,同時也檢視各本玄學論著的得失,以糾正玄學為虛無玄遠的錯誤,而實為正本清源的平治之道。 |
英文摘要 | The central issue of metaphysics is to communicate between Taoism and Confucianism with a theoretical foundation of voidness and origin. In general, both He Yan and Wang Bi are to be recognized as the symbolic figures of Zheng Shi period. Wang’s interpretation of Yi-Jing, Lao-zi and Lun-yu had pointed out “voidness” and “origin” as the issues of metaphysical discussion. Before He Yan and Wang Bi, Liu Shao had already come up with a thought of “pursuing human nature” and “understanding originality” in his book “The Interpretation of People”. He foucused on the thinking which came directly from the saints’ virtues that was to be considered as a harmonious way of life. From the category of “nine ways of requesting”, “difference of various physical forms” to “distinguishing of occupations” in “The Interpretation of People”, discussions of nature, originality, and physical form developed into chapters. Then started to talk about concepts of ability, nature and the relationship between appointing people to certain positions in the government. At last, Liu Shao concluded all the concepts and mentioned about ways of observing people and mistakes that were easy to make. In his analysis, the virtue of humbleness and great ability of socializing, all came together as one theory that served the above statements. In this article, the structural analysis of Liu Shao’s “The Interpretation of People” has defined Liu’s theories of analyzing people as “pre-metaphysics”. By illustrating the points that some books on metaphysics were not written correctly because of mistakes on metaphysical issues, we can finally find a ay to correct previous mistakes that were made in the past years and define “pre-metaphysics” as an influence to metaphysical thoughts in Zheng Shi period. |
