中文摘要 | 本研究為國科會專案的部分資料,以一年的時間,在我國教育部2002年所登記的全國1288所公立幼稚園中抽取三分之一幼稚園,針對其幼教主要行政工作者進行調查,以了解公幼園長主要的工作職責與工作角色。同時分析除了園長個人的因素,如年齡、學歷、幼教行政年資、其他行政工作年資等因素外,是否外在環境因素如幼稚園規模、公幼類型、兼任園長者、行政者產生方式、及教學負擔如兼全日班或半日班班級等因素對於園長的工作職責與角色有否顯著差別。 本研究主要以專家焦點團體座談及郵寄問卷的調查方式進行資料蒐集。實際郵寄對象為全國二十五個縣市的四百二十六所公立幼稚園園長或其主要幼教行政工作者。問卷採用「公立幼稚園園長工作職責與角色調查問卷」,資料分析來源包含其中二部分,即「公幼園長的角色扮演」和「公幼園長的工作職責」。所蒐集的資料主要採用以下幾種統計方式分析:一、描述性統計,如次數分配、百分比、平均數、標準差等;二、單因子變異數分析以及配對T考驗。 研究結果有以下幾點發現: 一、公幼園長的重要工作職責包含七個面向共四十項工作內容。 二、公幼園長工作職責實際發生頻率很頻繁的前兩項為公文批閱與文書檔案處理。 三、不同年齡的園長、及服務於不同公幼類型、幼稚園規模、及行政者產生方式的園長,僅對少數工作職責的重要性有顯著不同的看法。 四、園長需扮演的重要角色包含十四種不同的面貌。 五、公幼園長實際扮演很頻繁的工作角色,前三項依序是計畫者、執行者與學習者。 六、個人因素並不影響對園長角色重要性的看法。 七、公幼園長的工作職責及角色,絕大多數重要性皆顯著高於實際發生頻率。 本研究根據結果,分別對實務工作者、教育主管機關與師資培育機關、以及對於未來研究者提出研究修正與相關議題的十三點建議。 |
英文摘要 | There are two main purposes in this paper. One is to explore the work responsibilities of a director in Taiwan public kindergarten setting. The other is to find the directors’ perspectives on their work roles that they need to fulfill. Formal interviews, a focus group and questionnaires were used as the major research methods to collect ethnographic data and statistical data on the perceptions of program director’s work roles and responsibilities. Data analyses were made from questionnaires filled by 426 directors or major administrators in public kindergarten settings. There are eight findings reported in this paper. 1.The major responsibilities of a Taiwan public kindergarten director include seven aspects and forty items . 2.The most frequently happened work responsibilities for public kindergarten director are official paper work and document sorting. 3.There are significant different ratings by directors between the perceived importance of work responsibilities and their happening frequency. 4.There were significant differences existing in few work items of the perceived importance for personal and situational background factors such as age, school size, type of school, and ways of director recruiting. 5.There are fourteen important work roles perceived by Taiwan public kindergarten directors. 6.The first three important work roles perceived by public kindergarten directors are planner, executive officer, and learner. 7.For the director’s work roles, the ratings of importance are significantly higher than their frequency of happening. 8.There is no significant difference between different personal factor groups on ratings of role importance. |
