中文摘要 | 不管從實質內容或無形的意識形態,學校教科書對學生具有非常深遠的影響,其中鮮明的性別形象會間接累進的影響學生的思想及行為。故本文以國中英語科康軒版第一冊教科書為檢視對象,分析書中圖片及本文所蘊含的性別意識是否有所偏差。研究結果以為教科書編製者修正的依據,破除課程中所持有的性別刻板印象,並藉此提供國內英語科相關教材之編輯單位。檢視結果顯示不論圖片或內文,男女的角色、人格特質與兩性關係上已趨脫離傳統的性別窠臼,但仍有少部分圖文依然隱藏刻板的性別偏差失衡印象而待修正。 |
英文摘要 | School textbooks strongly influence students not only through the content but also through the ideology. Vivid gender description and pictures in the textbooks especially influence students' behavior and thoughts. The purpose of this study is to analyze the content in the junior high school English textbooks, taking the first volume English textbook edited by Kong-shuan Education Group as an example, to determine whether they contain gender ideology or not and if they do, to what extent. According to the findings of the research, some suggestions may offer to teachers, curricula, and publishers. The results of the examination are as followed: Most of the content is gender equal, but some of the pictures, dialogues and readings hide some stereotyped gender bias and need to be revised. |
