中文摘要 | 本文旨在探討知識經濟時代教師角色的樣貌,教育與企業有別,不應純以「經濟」做考量,應對文化層面有更深刻的思考,因此借用「知識文化」的概念,作為與知識經濟之對照。另外因資訊社會的變動、學習方式的改變、多元價值的挑戰與新倫理的需求,教師角色應調整為:學生學習的領航者、創意學習的推手、終身學習的研究者、知識社群的參與者、人文精神的提振者、轉化型的知識份子。固然發展奈米科技很重要,但是大學生漸缺乏人文精神,確是不爭的事實。再者,資訊的發達使電子化的犯罪日益增多,反應在高唱「知識經濟」下,重視「知識文化」的概念,似乎是必要的,而身為第一線工作的教師所扮演的角色更是關鍵,不得不慎重。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this article is to explore the teachers' role during the era of knowledge economy. Education is different from business, therefore, its performance cannot be simple measured in an economic way, alternatively, we should take a deep consideration into the culture aspects. The author introduces the concept of “knowledge culture” by comparision with “knowledge economy”. Meanwhile, in order to cope with the variation of information society, the changing of learning style, the challenges of the diversity values, and the requirements of new ethics, a teacher should adjust his/her role to be a navigator of students' learning, a promoter of creative study, a researcher for lifetime learning, a participant of the knowledge community, a preacher for humanity spirit, as well as a transformative intellectual. Although the development of the nanotechnology is obviously important, it is also the absolute truth that college students are lack of humanity spirit. Furthermore, the rapidly growth of information increases the e-society criminals. Therefore, it is urgent and necessary to emphasize the concept of “knowledge culture” while advocating the “knowledge economy”. In particular, teachers play the important and critical roles during the knowledge economy era. |
