中文摘要 | 終身學習社會指一個時時都要學習、人人都在學習的社會,以積極開發潛能、充分自我實、奉獻社會、服務人群為目標。重視發展人性的通識教育外,主張採取終身教育、回流教育或繼續教育,提供大眾受教育機會。在一生中的任何階段,從幼年、兒童乃至青少年期,要激發終生學習的動機,成年之後繼續學習成長。 本研究透過文獻探討與實務觀,比較國內外通識教育與終身學習的理論與實務,歸納分析需求面與執行面,俾利決策參採,教育部希望五年內造就一所國立的學登上世界前一百大,有十個系所是亞洲第一。「創造國際一流大學」固有其思考的邏輯,然而讓來自全民的納稅錢,支持「想讀書的人,都有學校可讀,都有好的教師教課,學得到想要的東西」,是否照顧層面更廣也能減少既患寡又患不均的爭議,有司能以多元思維,確實評估優先順序,使有限資源發揮更大效益,誠為當務之急。 處於終身教育的潮流趨勢之下,學校須因應成年人廣泛的學習需求,開創更多元的學習機會,透過目標設定和策略規劃,大學教育除增進專業能力之外,也應加強通識教育的功能,使之成為終身學習最重要之基礎,通識教育與終身學習當可相輔相成義利兼顧。 |
英文摘要 | Lifelong learning society means a society that learned every now and then, taught everybody, so as to develop the potential enthusiastically, to help self-accomplish adequately and devote them to society, serve for people. It emphasizes the General Education to create humanity, to take Backflow Education, Continuing Education, increase the educational opportunities. Therefore, the lifelong learning advocates the people to receive new knowledge, so that adapt the society needs. Form early childhood, childhood to juvenile, to encourage the learning motivation and the exploration of knowledge, and then, when they grow up to be adulthood, they can combine the social progress and the trend of the epoch, continue to increase know-how upgrade the professional skills, and increase the competition of job and life. Recently, the Ministry of Education intends to cultivate a national university to be the one of the top 100 in the world, and 10 departments become the champions in Asia. We believe to create the international best university in five years, of course exists its logic consequence. However the taxpayer recognize to help majority citizens to deal with lifelong learning, if we take diversification mindsets, evaluate the needs priority certainly, to make a prompt decision so as to elaborate the most effectiveness in limited resources. In the trends of Lifelong Education, the university should consider on-job training, career woman, family woman and retired people or the aged to study extensively, we should offer the multiple and convenient teaching services, the universities also have the functions to give the lifelong learning on basic ability education, so that the righteousness and profits will be in possession of both General Education and Lifelong Learning. |
