中文摘要 | 藉由佈倫認知分類,本研究旨在探討四所大學五應外系或翻譯系應屆應屆華業生對於英文關係子周之認知程度。就布倫分類之第一階段來說,本研究發現由於缺乏垂直銜接及足夠之準備,雖然所有學生均接受過關係子句之教學,但是缺乏詳細及系統教學,同時所花時間不多,只有56%學生均接受過關係子句之教學,但是缺乏詳細侑系統教學,同時所花時間不多,只有56%學生曾花費足夠時間學習關係子句。就布倫分類之第二階段來說,只有44%之學生能就限制性及關代之詞類來了解關子句。就布倫分類之第三階段來說,52%之學生能就限制性及關代之詞類來了解關係子句之句子,呢然說所造的句子過於粗淺。就布倫分類之第四階段來說,只有26%之學生能分析句子所含關係子句之文法特性。依布倫認知分類說而言,應外系學生對於關係子句之認知明顯不足。本研究結果印證布倫分類理論。 |
英文摘要 | Based on Bloom's Cognitive Taxonomy, this study aims to determine the performance in English relative clauses of 189 seniors from five different classes in Department of Applied Foreign Language or department of Translation and Interpretation in four universities. This study finds that only 56% of the respondents had spent sufficient time on and had been offered appropriate instruction in English relative clauses (Level One: Knowledge). Only 44% of them were appropriate instruction in English relative clauses (Level One: Knowledge). One 44% of them were able to explain in written language what relative clauses are in terms of restriction and case, and how they are related to participle phrases (Level Two: Comprehension). It is found that 52% of them were able to make sentences, though simply organized, containing relative clauses (Level Three: Application.) only 26 % were able to analyze relative clauses with respect to restriction and case in the sentential context (Level Four: Analysis). Overall, students of departments of applied foreign language lacked a mastery of English relative clauses. |
