中文摘要 | 臨床實習為物理治療專業教育中重要的一環,評估學生對臨床實習之觀 感,應可作為改善臨床教育之參考。本研究以問卷調查八十二學年度台灣地區大 學四年級物理治療學生對實習課程之滿意度,同時探討影響實習滿意度之因素。 其178位六所不同學校的實習學生參與此調查。結果顯示:只有2.8的學生對實習之 滿意度為低,超過半數(51.7)同學滿意度為中等,而近半數(45.5)同學對實習之滿 意度為高。單變項及逐步回歸分析顯示:對物理治療專業興趣高、指導老師為支 持教育型,依自己意願挑選實習醫院之學生對實習之滿意度較高(p<.0001)。作者 最後解釋這些發現的含意及提出建議,以期提高物理治療臨床實習的品質。(中 華物療誌1995:20(2):131-139) |
英文摘要 | Clinical education is an essential part ofphysical therapy education. So it seems reasonable to use the information obtained from students' assessment of clinical education to improve its quality. This study investigated the perception of senior students in the departmentsof physical therapy regarding the clinical education in the 1993 academic year. The degreeof satisfaction with clinical education as wellas factors that might influence students' satisfaction were investigated. One hundred and seventy-eight studentsfrom six universities participated in this study.A self-administered structured questionnaire wasused for data collection and a scale to measurestudents' satisfaction with clinical education wasconstructed for this study. Questions focusedmainly on students' attitude towards clinical education; personal details of students were alsocollected. Results revealed that only 2.8 of the students reported low levels of satisfaction withclinical education, 51.7 showed a medium level,whilst 45.5 showed a high level of satisfaction. Univariate analysis and stepwise regression analysis were employed to examine the association between student characteristics and thelevel of satisfaction with clinical education. Theanalysis showed that certain student characteristics were significantly associated with expressedhigh levels of satisfaction with clinical education (p<.0001). They were as follows: those students satisfied with clinical education showedhigh interest in physical therapy, were taughtby clinical supervisors who were more involvedin teaching, and were studying in institutionsof their own choice.
