中文摘要 | 本研究以台大物理治療畢業生為樣本,進行就業現況與工作情形之普 查,以了解物理治療人力資源的變化。本研究第一部份為現況調查,資料顯示:22 屆畢業生,計500名,男女比例約4:7,平均年齡為32.7±6.4歲,57.5的人畢業後 再進修,30.8專業學歷為碩士級以上。有51.6從事本行,其中位45.1在國內服務, 占畢業生總數23.3,流失率近8成。第二部份為在國內從事本行者之調查,發現 71.4集中於北部地區、56.3在台北市、而70.5在醫學中心或區域醫院工作。第三部 份為國內從事本行者工作情形之問卷調查,問卷回收率為74.1。結果顯示,大多 數人從事臨床工作,其中半數工作有專科化,以骨科居冠。平均每月薪資為37,600 ±8,700元,有72.6的人表示對薪資不滿意,但66.2表示對目前工作感到滿意。綜 合以上資料發現:過半數在國內從事本行者均對其工作滿意;但檢視其流失率卻居 高不下。因此本文作者建議早日制訂物理治療師法,保障其工作權益;並設置物 理治療研究所,提供深造機會,以挽留部份人才為民服務,避免教育資源的浪費。 (中華物療誌1993:18(1):72-84) |
英文摘要 | A survey of physical therapy graduatesfrom National Taiwan University was conducted by mailed questionnaires and telephoneinterview of the graduates. The purposes of thisstudy were 1) to establish a basic data file ofthe physical therapy graduates, 2) to investigatethe distribution and the working situations ofthe graduated physical therapists in Taiwanarea. There were 500 graduates by the end ofOctober, 1992. The ratio between male andfemale graduates was around 4:7. The meanage was 32.7±6.4 years old. Around 57 of thetotal graduates continued studying after graduation. There were 30.8 of the total graduateswho were studying at graduate schools ofphysical therapy or had already obtained Masters or PhD degrees in physical therapy. Only51.6 of those graduates were working as physical therapists, 45.1 of them in Taiwan area. Of the total graduates only 23.3 werephysical therapists in Taiwan area, 71.4 ofthem in northern Taiwan, 56.3 in Taipei city,and 70.5 at medical centers or district hospitals. The return rate of the questionnaires was74.1 of those who work in Taiwan area.According to these questionnaires, 49.4 ofphysical therapists in Taiwan area had a specialty in their work, the most common fieldbeing orthopedic physical therapy. The meansalary of those physical therapists wasNT$37,600±8,700. Although 66.2 felt satisfied with their job, 3/4 of them thought unsatisfied or very unsatisfied with their salary.
