中文摘要 | 本文旨在以較為統整的取向,從成功預期的認知與獲得報酬的價值判斷,兩個層面,探討有效激勵學生的策略。文中討論到四組動機策略:第一項策略是維持學生的成功預期,和有關的知覺與信念(包括:努力與結果的相關、內在控制、自主而非被典當的自我概念、效能或能力感、內在與可控的歸因、能力增加的概念)。其次是外在動機策略,主要是連結活動表現與有價值的結果。復次為運用學生的內在動機,設計或選擇學生喜歡的活動。第四為激發學生的動機去學習。此外,還有一些其他較適用特定情境與學習活動的動機策略。本文基於動機的期望與價值理論,建議許多的動機策略,讓教師在計畫和教學過程中,用來增進學生的學習動機,改善教室中學習低落的現象,並且希望有助於達成教學目標。 |
英文摘要 | A very important theory is expectancy-value theory. This theory holds that the effort people are willing to expend on a task is a product of (1) the degree to which they expect to be able to perform the task successfully if they apply themselves, and (2) the degree to which they value those reward. Effort investment is viewed as the product rather than the sum of the expectancy and value factors because it is assumed that no effort at all will be invested in a task if one factor is missing entirely. Thus, expectancy x value theories of motivation imply that teachers need to both help their students appreciate the value of school activities and make sure that the students can achieve success in these activities if they apply reasonable effort. |
