中文摘要 | 本研究乃探討杉木及相思樹木材在聚乙二醇(PEG)液體中以硫酸為催化劑進行液化處理之可行性,液化處理條件之變因包含樹種、PEG分子量、液化藥劑組成、催化劑添加量、液化反應時間等,並由其液化木材之殘渣率、不揮發分含量、粘度、酸價及羥價等之變化分析各不同液化條件下之液化效果。由其結果得知,以PEG進行液化處理時,杉木之液化效果優於相思樹,Peg中添加10%丙三醇可提昇其液化效果,在液化反應時間60 min時,木材幾已完全被液化,添加30%丙三醇之液化效果則降低。液化處理時,H_2SO_4添加量由3%提高至6%,或液化反應時間由90 min延長至150 min時,其殘渣率均有昇高之現象。液化木材之粘度主要受液化藥劑中丙三醇含量所影響,隨丙三醇添加量增加,液化木材粘度下降。酸催化劑添加量增加,液化木材之粘度則上升。液化木材之粘度隨液化時間延長而降低,然反應時間60 min後,其粘度則隨時間延長而上升。在相同液化條件下,採用低分子量PEG為液化藥劑者有較佳之液化效果,其中杉木以PEG-400之液化效果最佳,相思樹則以PEG-200及PEG-400效果較佳。木材在液化過程中隨反應進行,其液化木材之酸價值升高,羥價值則降低。 |
英文摘要 | The main objective of this study was to investigate the feasibility of liquefaction of China fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata) and Taiwan acacia (Acacia con/usa) wood in the presence of polyethylene glycol (PEG) with sulfuric acid (H_2SO_4) as catalyst. The variables of the liquefaction conditions included kinds of wood species, molecular weight of PEG, component of liquefaction reagent, rate of catalyst, and time of reaction. The results of liquefaction were determined by the amount of residue, nonvolatile content, viscosity, acid value and hydroxyl value of liquefied wood. It was revealed that the result of liquefaction of China fir was better than that of Taiwan acacia when liquefied in PEG. The addition of 10 % glycerol into PEG improved the result of liquefaction, China fir wood could almost fully liquefied within 60 minutes of reaction time, but 30 % of glycerol addition would decrease the result of liquefaction. Residue of liquefied wood would increase if the addition of H_2SO_4 increased from 3 % to 6 %, or the time of reaction prolonged from 90 minutes to 150 minutes. Viscosity of the liquefied wood depended primarily on the degree of glycerol addition, the more amount of glycerol, the lower viscosity of liquefied wood was. Increment of the rate of H_2SO_4 would increase the viscosity of liquefied wood. Within 60 minutes of reaction time, the viscosity would reduce as the time prolonged, but over 60 minutes of reaction time the viscosity would increase with increasing time. Under the same liquefaction condition, the lower molecular weight of PEG the better effect of liquefaction was. The best liquefaction result was liquefied with PEG-400 for China fir and PEG-200 and PEG-400 for Taiwan acacia. As the reaction time prolonged, the acid value of liquefied wood increased, but hydroxyl value decreased. |
