中文摘要 | 本試驗以澳洲進口之布拉曼種牛在盤固草地進行輪流放牧,由觀測牛隻日增重與每公頃活動體重求算最適當的載牧力作為牧地放牧管理之參考。由兩年資料得知,0.4、0.6、0.8及1.0公頃小區牛群輪流放牧平均日增重分別為0.44、0.48、0.51及0.53公斤。每公頃活體增重分別為657、472、402及359公斤。由觀測結果顯示,牛隻平均日增重隨載牧力增加而減少,每公頃活體增重隨載牧力增加而增加。衡酌兩項觀測值,在載牧力3.3動物單位/公頃時是理想的載牧力,故吾人建議,在臺南新化盤固草地每公頃放牧3.3動物單位,約1500公斤的牛隻有較佳的經濟利益。 |
英文摘要 | Brahman cattle imported from Australia were rotationally grazing on Pangola grass pasture with a purpose of investigating the optimum carrying capacity for the best way of pasture management. Data collected within two years showed that the average daily gains for 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.0 hectare plots were 0.44, 0.48, 0.51 and 0.53 kg, respectively. The liveweight gain per hectare were 657, 472, 402 and 359 kg respectively. The results showed that the average daily gain decreased when carrying capactity increased. And the liveweight gain per hecatre increased while the carrying capacity increased. The optimum carrying capacity should be 3.3 animal unit per hectare as these two parameters were jointly evaluated. It is suggested that higher porfit may be obained from Pangola pasture at Hsin-hua area. Tainan when 3.3 animal carrying capacity per hectare or cattle of 1500 kg total liveweight is adopted. |
