中文摘要 | 本研究以臺北至高雄、臺中至臺北、及臺中至高雄航線間航空旅運者為研究對象,探討高速鐵路興建完成後對其旅運行為之影響。由於影響航空運輸及高速鐵路兩運具間之選擇的因素相當複雜,因此本研究應用能探討方案相關性之普羅比模式,藉由所得之結果來探討旅運者選擇兩運具考慮的主要因素及其影響;另外,本研究亦藉由直接及間接彈性之分析,了解各因素對兩運具間選擇之影響,更進而得知各項因素對兩運具市場佔有率之影響。本研究之結果可作為未來國內航空運輸及高速鐵路間和諧並存及利用個別優點從事良性競爭之參考,亦可作為未來政策制定之依據。 |
英文摘要 | The rapid increasing domestic trade and economic activities, higher average income, and decreasing working hours per week have been contributed to the structural change in a great extend on the travel demand in Taiwan, such as the dramatic growth of flight trips. In the meantime, the High Speed Rail (HSR) which has been approved by the government, once completed, is in some aspects similar to the air transportation, for example, the aspects of level of service (LOS) including travel time and comfort. Therefore, having HSR as an extra alternative would significantly influence air traveler's choice behavior, especially in median- and long-range trips. Three major intercity corridors including Taipei to Kaohsiung, Taichung to Taipei, and Taichung to Kaohsiung, were chosen in this study to investigate travelers' choice behavior between HSR and air transportation. Probit models were applied to further capture the most significant attributes that influence travelers' choice behavior in this study. In addition, the market share for each transportation mode was analytically calculated from direct and indirect elasticities with respect to certain LOS attributes. This study provides valuable insights into the future competition or co-existence between the domestic air transportation and HSR business rivals. |
