中文摘要 | 毛細壓力為胚體毛細吸附脫脂製程的唯一驅動力,隨著脫脂過程的進行,毛胚體內部黏結劑的飽和度,亦將隨之改變。整個毛細吸附脫脂過程,類似於流體流經多孔性介質材料之物理現象。籍由毛細吸附脫脂的先期輔助,對於金屬射出成形製程週期的縮短和降低脫脂變形等方面,均有正面的幫助。本研究中擬利用離心力原理,自行設計/製作一套簡易旋轉實驗機構,藉由改變胚體轉速求得毛細壓力值,並控制不同脫脂溫度條件下,量取胚體內部黏結劑含量。實驗結果顯示,當離心裝置轉速超過1000rpm時,所定義出之胚體最低飽和度值均小於10%,且脫脂毛細壓力和胚體內部黏結劑飽和度關條則滿足指數定律(power law),尤其當胚體內部鋼珠粒徑為3mm峙,則擬合常數的變化值ΔΒ小於1%。 |
英文摘要 | Capillary pressure is the only driving force to remove the molten binder inside the green compact. The cycle time of MIM process and the deformation owing to debinding can be reduced by the assistance of wicking technique. During the wick-debinding process, the saturation of binder is variable with debinding time and this process is similar to fluid flows through porous media. In the present work, a simple rotating mechanism is designed and the capillary pressure inside the green compact can be indirectly measured. According to the theory of centrifugal force, parameters such as powder loading, temperature, speed, etc. are investigated on the wicking process. Experimental results show that the irreducible saturation, Sirr, is defined as lower than 10% when the rotating speed of green compact is over 1000 rpm. The relationship between the saturation and the capillary pressure is established following the model of power law. Besides, when the simulated powder size in green compact is 3 mm, the variance of fitting coefficient, ΔB, is generally smaller than 1 %. |
