中文摘要 | 藉由瞭解組織所擁有資源組合的差異,管理者可以擬具適切的成長策略,選擇合適的成長類型,以進入新的事業領域,經由資源的有效運用,達到組織整體價值的最大與營運目標的實現。組織除了應具有將資源運用於成長策略思考的認知外,組織究應以何種類型、何種方式進入新的事業領域,其實也會受到資源類項的影響。 本研究經37個成長專案的個案訪談,及量表預試的程序。並以中華徵信所1999出版之台灣地區大型企業排名中製造業及服務業各前五百大企業為研究對象。研究結果發現,資源之間的確存有交互作用的現象,故以資源構形的觀點取代以往以單一資源進行對成長策略的推論,可化解不同研究結果間的矛盾,並引發有關資源基礎理論的許多新觀點與新解釋。 |
英文摘要 | It is important for an organization to recognize the importance of resource mobilization in formulating development strategies. The type fresources acquired by an organization also determines entering a newbusiness territory. The previous study on this subject matter has oftenfocused on the characteristics of one particular type of resources. Thisapproach can construct a theoretical model with simplicity. However, it isdebatable whether a single type of resources plays a key role in the decisionprocess of development strategies when an enterprise seizes a chance todiversify its business scale. This problematic has not been discussed inprevious research. This study is based on cases study of 37 growth projects of 8Taiwanese enterprises and then on the analysis of 152 development projectsof the largest Taiwanese enterprises. Through further analysis, it is attestedthat different types of resources mutually influence each other. That is, inthe case of development strategies, due to various combinations with otherresources, a specific type of resources can result in different types ofdiversification. Derived from the resource-configuration perspective, thisresearch also re-examines the relationship between the type of resourceconfiguration and that of diversification. It is shown that there are obviousassociations between the two. |
