中文摘要 | 時間在兒童的生活經驗上處處可及,但時間不是具體存在的物質。因此,時間概念對學童而言非常抽象。木研究意圖針對十六位幼稚園至六年級的學童,透過一週的生活觀察與利用生活情境的非結構訪談,瞭解學童在生活;上所涉及的時間概念。研究發現:學童的時間概念發展,大致與文獻採討的結果相符合,只有在時間量概念與週期概念上略有差異。學童在日常生活上對時間單位量的使用比較有限,大多以時或分的單位來描述;在時間語言方面,關於順序和週期概念的表現情形也極罕見,顯示生活情境與教學情境的落差。 |
英文摘要 | Time is part of children's daily life; however, it is not a material we can actually see or touch. Therefore, it is an abstract concept for children. In this study, we observed and interviewed 16 students, whose ages are between five and twelve in one week, with the purpose to understand their time concept. We found that the students' time concept development overall fits the findings of earlier researches, only with few differences on the quantity and cyclic of time. Regarding quantity of time, we found students usually used the unit, such as hour and minute, to describe time in their daily life. As to the expressions about sequence and cyclic of time, they were rarely seen, which shows us the difference between textbooks and their living. |
