中文摘要 | 本文係國立清華大學研究用水池式核反應器(THOR)用過高濃化鈾核燃料,配合(1)美國政府為防止高濃化鈾擴散,及(2)解決國內研究用反應器用過核燃料的高階放射性廢料貯存與處置問題,而參與用過核燃料回運美國處置前的國內吊裝運送作業過程的輻射防護措施與劑量評估。由環境輻射監測、作業場所的空間輻射劑量與工作人員的輻射劑量偵測結果,顯示本次用過核燃料回運美國處置前的國內吊裝運送作業過程中,並未影響作業場所與周圍環境輻射劑量的變化,工作人員所接受的輻射劑量除二位工作人員手指分別接受0.16毫西弗與0.06毫西弗外,其餘工作人員所接受的劑量均低於各人員劑量計測系統對輻射劑量反應的低限值。 |
英文摘要 | A radiation protection and dose assessment project was carried out on the handling and transportation of the high enrichment spent nuclear fuels which were discharged from spent fuel pool of the Tsing Hua Open-pool Reactor (THOR) and shipped back to United States for final disposal. The purposes of this shipment are:(l) to support the Nuclear Weapon Non-Proliferation Policy of United States, and (2) to resolve the storage and disposal of the spent fuels from research reactor in Taiwan. The survey and monitoring of the environmental radiation background shows that the radiation level of the working area is no change during and after the handling and shipment of the spent fuels. In addition, the radiation dose received by the technicians who involved in this project are lower than the Low Limit Detection (LLD) of the detector system except two persons who received a trace amount of dosage of 0.16 mSv and 0.06 mSv on the finger respectively. |
