中文摘要 | 近年來,為因應國家經濟發展之自由化與國際化以及電子網路科技的高度發展,培養兼具外語與專業的國際人才儼然成為現今語文教育當務之急。為滿足對此類人才之實際社會需求,遂有「應用外語」科系的設立。然而,「應用外語」科系開辦多年之後,對各校課程之規劃、實施、及應用現況,尚缺乏較嚴謹完整的研究調查。本文以中州技術學院應用外語科英文組第一、二屆畢業校友現況及課程應用/需求分析之調查結果,探討五專應用英語課程實施現況與衍生之課程相關問題,並提出相關之參考建議。 |
英文摘要 | In recent years, along with the advances in modern technology as well as the ever-changing competition and demands from this global village we live in, many junior colleges in Taiwan have set up Applied Foreign Languages Department to keep up with this fast-changing world. Nevertheless, most of these junior colleges have problems in the planning and application of a well-tailored applied foreign languages curriculum, and thus fail to set up a clear direction for their curriculum design and development. The Department of Applied Foreign Languages of Chungchou Institute of Technology (divided into English-majors and Japanese-majors) was established in 1995, and had her first graduates in 2000. This research aims at surveying the first and second English-major graduates of CCIT to understand their post-graduation condition and need. Based 'on the survey, this research will further analyze and examine the design, application, and applicability of the current curriculum for English-majors. Hopefully, the result of this research will shed some light on how to design a ''useful'' and "applicable" curriculum for those English-majors in the Applied Foreign Languages Department in CCIT. |
