英文摘要 | By employing boundary layer theory to analyze mixed convection heat transfer of steady, laminar flow over a horizontal flat plate, an exact similarity solution is given for the case of a wall hear flux that is inversely proportional to the distance from the leading edge. It is found that for the case of a cooled plate where the similarity solution isn't existed when the buoyancy parameter is below a certain critical value due to a buoyancy-induced adverse pressure gradient. The effects of the fluid Prandtl number and the buoyancy parameter on velocity and temperature fields and hence on the local skin friction coefficient and the heat transfer rate are clearly discussed. |
