中文摘要 | 本研究旨在瞭解兒童英語補習班教師專業訓練之現況與相關問題,並提出建議,以作為相關單位或補習班未來規劃兒童英語教師專業訓練課程時之參考,進而促進兒童英語補習班教師之專業成長。本研究以臺中市180家合格立案英語(文)科之兒童英語補習班教師為調查對象,依臺中市行政區之劃分,經分層比例抽樣方式,抽取100家補習班之兒童英語教師304名(有效問卷回收率50.7%)在調查問卷上的反應加以分析。 本研究結果發現:(1)兒童英語教師專業訓練包括:「基本英語能力訓練」、「英語教學技能訓練」、「教師通用專業知能訓練」等三個領域,計二十項專業練課程。(2)兒童英語教師認為=最重要之專業訓練果程,前三項為「日常會話主題、用語練習、預先準「之討論活動」、「教室常用英語、遊戲與律動之教法」、「英語教學觀摩與試教」。(3)兒童英語教師依「任教英語年資」不同,對整體及各領域專業訓練課程之「重要程度」看法也不同。 基於文獻探討及研究結果,本研究乃進一步提出相關建議。 |
英文摘要 | The main purpose of this study is to explore the professional training for English instructors of children's language schools. By using the tools of document analysis and questionnaires, objectives of the study include English Instructors of 180 registered children's language schools in Taichung. The Professional Competency English Instructors in Children's Language School Setting Questionnaire, developed by the author, was administered to 304 samples randomly selected form 100 language schools in Taichung with a return rate of 50.7%. Based upon data of literature review and questionnaire survey, conclusions have been reached as fallow: (1)The professional training of English instructors includes the Training Courses about Basic Language Abilities, the Traning Courses about Language Teaching Skills, the Training Courses about General Knowledge. (2)The three most momentous teacher-training courses are Daily Conversation and Pattern Practice and Preview Discussing, Classroom English and Teaching Games & Songs, Classroom observation and Demonstration. (3)English instructors with different backgrounds have different views on the importance in professional training courses. Based on the conclusions, the suggestions are also raised and discussed. |
