中文摘要 | 目前正蓬勃發展之遺傳演算法是優化技巧中之一個新領域,此模擬自然界適者生存與進化法則之優化理論,因具備諸多優異性能,使其在各領域之優化應用上逐漸受到重視。遺傳演算法於水資源工程之應用由起先之自來水管網優化設計,擴展至其他工程領域,深具發展潛力。本文旨在推介遺傳演算法之相關資訊,除簡述其發展背景、基本理論、演算程序及比較其與傳統優化搜尋技巧之差異外,並以自來水管網及水庫系統運轉優化為例加以說明。 |
英文摘要 | Genetic algorithm (GA) is a search algorithm based on the mechanics of natural selection and natural genetics. Recently, GA has so far made many applications in system optimization due to its robust and efficient search in complex spaces. Application of GA on water resources engineering is originated from system design optimization for water distribution networks, and GA has potential application to other engineering fields. Therefore, the main purpose of this article is to introduce GA: what it is, where it comes from, and how it differs from other search procedures. We illustrate how it works with hand calculations. The optimal design of water supply pipeline network and reservoir system operation problems are presented to demonstrate the merits of GA. |
