英文摘要 | This paper is a study on cooperative learning which is now widely recognized as one of the most promising practices in the field of education. Many findings have indicated that students, working in small groups and being rewarded based on the learning of all group members, learn significantly more than do students in traditional classes. Teaching strategies that focus on cooperation result in significant gains in achievement, self-esteem, and social development. I will provide a brief overview of the research on cooperative learning to illustrate what cooperative learning is, why teachers should use it, what teachers should do in this teaching strategy, four ways to use it, and finally a suggestion on building a cooperative school. |
