中文摘要 | 本研究旨在進行智能障礙青年心理生活素質現況、相關因素、以及心理生活素質 與各層面生活素質關係之量的和質的研究。就現況而言,量的研究結果發現「自主╱自決」 和「幸福感╱滿意度」兩個分量表的平均數分別為 2.96 和 2.94。 質的研究結果發現在自 主性方面,大部分個案在起床、個人梳洗等個人生活自理項目皆能獨立,僅部分個案需要家 人催促或協助。而在做家事、整理自己房間、料理三餐、使用金錢、管理薪水、外出或上下 班交通方面,多數個案屬半獨立或依賴。整體來看,智能障礙者在日常事物選擇和決定的能 力和機會上,確實比正常人來得低和少。至於滿意度方面,六位就業者中,有三位表示滿意 ;三位表示不滿意。兩位就學者及一位已婚者對學校和婚姻生活都感到滿意,部分個案有除 看電視以外的休閒或社交活動,他們對此感到滿意。至於個案表示不滿意的事項或活動包括 沒有工作、寫字、長相、癲癇、媽媽的態度等。 就智能障礙青年心理生活素質相關因素而言,量和質的研究結果顯示障礙等級、教育程度、 就業狀況、居住地區、健康狀況、休閒或社交活動的安排、家人對個案的態度、外界對個案 的態度、個案本身對自己或他人的看法等九個因素與心理生活素質有關。心理生活素質總量 表和學校、社區、和職業生活素質量表得分之間的相關介於.54 和.74 之間,表示它們之間 有著密切的關係。最後,智能障礙青年及其父母對未來生活的期待都是一些非常基本的需求 ,期待一個健康、安全、經濟獨立的生活。 |
英文摘要 | This research included quantitative and qualitative parts. Survey methodology and naturalistic inquiry were used respectively in quantitative and qualitative study to understand the current situation of psychological aspects on quality of life, and analyze the related factors affecting it for youth with mental retardation in Taiwan. The results indicated that the means were 2.94 and 2.96 for the two subscales of autonomy/self-determination, and psychological well-being/life satisfaction. Besides, qualitative study revealed that most participants were independent on individual affairs (e.g., getting up, grooming, etc.), semi-independent or dependent on the items of family affairs, bedroom cleaning, meal preparation, money use, salary management, and transportation, etc. As a whole, the abilities and opportunities were inferior and less for youth with mental retardation than for nondisabled youth. Regarding life satisfaction, half of 6 employees with mental retardation were satisfied with their jobs for the reasons of kind colleagues and supervisors. The reasons of dissatisfaction were too long or short work time, low wages, and low interest on the job, etc. Two students and one married participant were satisfactory with their school and marriage life. Parts of participants were contented with their recreation and social activities other than watching TV or video programs. The items of dissatisfaction included appearance, unemployment, and mother's attitude and so on. Quantitative and qualitative studies revealed that area, disability level, health condition, educational background, employment status, the arrangement of recreation and social activities, parental attitude, the attitude of significant others, and the concept of youth with mental retardation with themselves and other people were variables of affecting psychological aspects on quality of life. The correlation between the score of Psychological Aspects on Quality of Life Scale and them of Community, School, and Vocational Quality of Life Scale ranged from.54 to.74. Finally, youth with mental retardation and their parents anticipated for a healthy, secure and economically independent life. |
