中文摘要 | 本研究旨在以實驗方式探討縱向渦流的混合性能。利用流場可視化技巧拍攝測試區內不同軸向位置的截面影像,吾人可輕易地比較各類渦流型態之混合特性及其發展趨勢。此類縱向渦流係經由安置在流道上之四面體斜坡式渦流產生器擾動主流場而形成,且透過渦流產生器之配置組合,密閉渠道內可形成不同的渦流型態。本文的結果顯示,矩形渠道內配置四個渦流產生器之組合頗且實務應用的開發潛能。在z/H=3.0處,且壓力降係數ζ≦3之狀況下,其混合效率之變異係數(標準差╱平均值)可被抑低至16%。相較於無渦流產生器配置之結果(變異係數=45% @ z/H=3.0),縱向渦流對混合性能的改善幅度可謂是相當顯著。 |
英文摘要 | This work is concerned with experimental investigation on the mixing performance of longitudinal vortices. Cross sectional images at various axial locations are taken with flow visualization techniques, so that mixing characteristics as well as development trends of various vortex patterns can be easily compared. This type of longitudinal vortices is generated as the main stream flows over tetrahedral ramp-shaped vortex generators placed on the wall of flow path. Various vortex patterns can be generated by combining different configurations of the vortex generators in a confined duct. The results of the present research show that the configuration with four vortex generators in a rectangular duct indicates a great potential for developing practical applications. At z/H = 3.0 and pressure drop coefficientζ≦3, the variation coefficient of mixing performance (standard deviation/mean value) can be restricted to as low as 16%. This outcome indicates a great improvement as compared with the counterpart for the case without vortex generators, of which variation coefficient is around 45% at the same axial location. |
