中文摘要 | 本研究旨在探討當研究者與個案教師共同討論,合作進行教學改變時,如果將數學哲學的思考引入,該教師的教學會呈現出何種風貌,同時深入瞭解其教學改變情形,並提出教學實務的建議。初步階段,研究者辨識出個案教師對於數學及數學教學本質的看法;後期我們將數學哲學的思考引入後,發現該教師的教學呈現出:(一)不強調標準答案,重視學生的想法,只要答案合理即可。(二)設計學習單時會運用多元表徵。(三)當學生解題產生困難時,他不會簡單歸因於「學生不用功」、「基礎不好」等,開始注意到學生閱讀題目所產生的困難。(四)教學上注意反例的運用,引發學生概念衝突。(五)對於社會建構的數學本質的認識,使他比較能認同符合建構主義理念的教學方式。以此為例,我們建議如果要順利推動九年一貫課程,除了理念的宣揚外,還必須給予基層教師適切而實際的教學改變之協助。 |
英文摘要 | This study is aimed to investigate the effects of introducing views of mathematical philosophy to a mathematics teacher on his teaching. It's also aimed at exploring the change of his teaching in order to provide information for those who intend to seek teaching improvement. The ways the subject teacher considered the nature of mathematics and math teaching were identified at the early stage of the study. At the later stage, after some selected views of mathematical philosophy were introduced to the subject teacher a number of strategies presented in his teaching were observed. (1) The students' ideas rather than "standardized answers" were emphasized. (2) Multiple representations instead of single form worksheets were employed. (3) When doing problem-solving the students' difficulties in comprehending the questions were noticed. (4) Examples hat help to disclose students' concept conflict were used in teaching. (5) The constructivist approach was applied in the math teaching ever after. Taking this study as an example, in terms of making' the policy of the nine-year consistent curriculum' more practicable, we suggest that, apart from the promotion of the regarding ideas to schoolteachers, a more practical aid to help them make change possible is urgently needed. |
