中文摘要 | 本研究主要在探討逆向工程的關鍵技術,先就元件本身的表象來分析與論證可程式邏輯元件(PLD)使用非破壞性的方法來做逆向還原、再造的可能性,然後以學理求證可程式邏輯元件之逆向工程確實可行。最後,再以實驗的方法設計治具進行分析,得到的結果後與原始晶片進行比對,以證明使用非破壞的方法進行可程式邏輯元件的逆向工程是正確的。 本文針對電子、電機、資訊業常用的可程式邏輯元件,進行逆向工程之研究,範圍涵蓋了下列四種目前在市場應用廣泛的主流元件: 1. PAL(programmable array logic) 2. EPLD(erasable programmable logic device) 3. GAL(generic array logic) 4. PEEL(programmable electrically erasable logic) 逆向工程在國防軍事上或是商業用途都是很重要的,培養優秀的逆向工程人才,深入了解各種電子元件的內部運作,更是建設台灣成為綠色矽島的重要課題。 |
英文摘要 | Techniques of reverse engineering of programmable logic devices (PLD) are discussed. Theories of array logic reverse engineering are reviewed. A methodology is developed to demonstrate a non-destructive technique for reverse engineering PLDs. First, logic responses of the device is scanned and sampled. Second, using analytical theories the embedded program of the device is reverse engineered. Finally, an experimental system is configured to test the program and compare the response with the original device to assess the accuracy of the reverse engineered program. This study includes reverse engineering of PLDs that are commonly used in electronic, electrical, and information industries. Four types of popular PLDs in the market are: 1.PAL (programmable array logic) 2.EPLD (erasable programmable logic device) 3.GAL (generic array logic) 4.PEEL (programmable electrically erasable logic) Reverse engineering technology is very important in both military and commercial applications. It is imperative that electronic engineers understand the internal functions of electronic devices and be adept in reverse engineering techniques – for the goal of building Taiwan to become the “Green Silicon Island” to be achieved. |
