英文摘要 | We developed DSP-based noise control systems that can reduce the noise level in the incubator. Active noise control (ANC) is the key technique that used. The alarm of monitor instruments is the most serious noise sources around the incubator. Here, we still need the alarms to notice the nursing personnel, but at the same time we do not want the noises disturb the infants. That is, we need to generate a "zone of quiet" around the head of infant. Only ANC can achieve this purpose. The experiments were carried out in a box made of acryl. Sine waves and amplitude-modulated (AM) waves were used as test signals. We compared results getting from fixed-point and floating-point digital signal processors (DSPs). The results show that the ANC systems can substantially reduce the noise in some frequency ranges. The "zone of quiet" around the head of infant can be adjusted via arranging the locations of microphones and speakers. |
