中文摘要 | 本研究旨在實證臺灣地區冷凍調理食品廠商的生產技術及衡量廠商的經濟效率,並進一步分析廠商效率與競爭力的關係。首先透過問內調查方式取得16家通過CAS認證的優良冷凍調理食口廠商之生產活動資料,進而以隨機邊界函數法實證衡量冷凍調理食品廠商的成本機率,並且利用所估得之成本函數計算投入因素替代彈性,多產出的規模經濟及廠商的利潤率。由實證獲得的重要發為:(1)不同廠商間的成本效率有所差異,且均未臻完全有效率之水準,表示各廠商的生產成本尚有降低改善的空間,(2)以成本效率的高低將樣本廠商分組來分析比較,低效率組與高效率組廠商之間最明顯的差異乃在於使用不同投入因素的成本比率,(3)廠商的多產出規模經濟對其市場競爭力有顯著正面的影響。 |
英文摘要 | This study aimed to investigate the economic efficiency associated with multi-product frozen prepared food firms from the aspect of cost. Using questionnaires to acquire production activity data from sixteen certified CAS firms, the stochastic frontier function approach was adopted for empirical estimation. The elasticities of substitution among inputs, economics of scale for multi-products and profit rates were all calculated based on the estimated cost frontier. Major findings were. (1) differences of cost efficiency existed among sample firms, but none of them reached overall efficiency; (2) the most significant difference between the high and low efficiency firms was in input cost shares, (3) market competitiveness of firms was positively related to firms' efficiency status. |
