中文摘要 | 本文寫作之目的在於揭示東亞儒學史研究的一個新視野。本文第二節建議以東亞儒者對儒家經典之詮釋作為研究的新策略點,由此邁向儒家詮釋學的建構,並嘗試解明具有東亞文化特色的思維方式之特徵。本文第三節提出兩種可能的研究方法:「概念史」研究方法與「思想史」研究方法,前者著重經典詮釋的「語言性」,後者重視解經者的「脈絡性」。本文第四節則進一步從儒學的地域性以及儒家經典內部的問題意識等兩個角度,提出若干可能的研究方向。 |
英文摘要 | This article discusses the desirability and feasibility of the Confucian hermeutics as a new path to the study of history of confucianism in East Asia. We argue that the Confucian hermeneutics can best be studied through an analysis of the exegeses of Confucian classics in East Asia. Furthermore, a study of the exegetical tradition of Confucian classics may reveal to us the mode of thinking with East Asian characteristics. We also suggest two approaches for studying Confucian hermeneutics: the “history of ideas” approach sheds lights upon problems of linguisticality while the “intellectual history” approach pays attention to problems of contextuality. On the basis of these two methodological considerations, we suggest some possible topics for futher studies in this new field. |
