英文摘要 | The mechanical characteristics of self-lubricating aluminum/SiC/mickel-coated-graphite (Gr-Ni) composite with various amount of Gr-Ni addition synthesized by the semi-solid powder densification (SSPD) method have been studied. As the amount of Gr-Ni increases, the hardness increases and peak at 2% and 8% addition. It was also found that 3-point bending strength increases as the amount of Gr-Ni increase, and peaks at 5% and 8%. However, fracture toughness decreases monotonically as the Gr-Ni content increases. It seems that Gr-Ni addition is beneficial to the composite under compressive stress condition (hardness test), and detrimental under tensile stress condition (bending test). Microcraks between Gr and NiAl, which formed during process, determines the mechanical behavior of composite. |
