英文摘要 | The layered composites were fabricated by stacking layers of monolithic Si �� N �� and TiN-reinforced Si �� N ��. The mechanical properties of three-layered composites were investigated. The starting powder mixtures, including Si �� N �淮nd sintering aids 6wt%Y �� O �� and 2wt%Al �� O �� ), and composites containing 10vol%,or20vol% TiN were prepared by pressureless sintering at 1800 ℃ for 2h in a nitrogen atmosphere. The mechanical properties influenced by the content of the second phase and inner layer thickness in three-layered composites were investigated. Results indicated the flexural strength and fracture toughness were influenced by the Content of the second phase. The fracture toughness of the 20vol%TiN/Si �� N �� Composite was increased by 80% from 4.6 to 8.3MPam. |
