中文摘要 | 本研究針對木質廢棄物,包含木材加工廠之加工廢料及建築物拆除後之木質廢料,如實木小角材、各種木質板材等進行炭化處理,以開發木炭(Charcoal)之新用途,如調濕,水質淨化、隔熱、保溫材料、土壤改良及電磁波遮蔽材等,達到「廢棄物資源化」的目標。研究中使用柳杉、杉木、鐵杉、紅櫟木、泡桐及相思樹,在500~110℃不同炭化最高溫度(Carbonization temperature)下,以高溫爐進行炭化處理,製造木炭。所得木炭,進行比重、收炭率、收縮率、真比重等基本性質之探討。結果顯示比重大之試材在炭化處理後所得木炭之比重保留率會相對的較大,而紅櫟木、泡桐、相思樹之比重值大致隨炭化最高溫度上升而增加。各樹種之收炭率隨炭化最高溫度升高而降低。收縮率則除柳杉外,會隨炭化最高溫度升高而增加,且其似乎有方向性存在,大致為弦向>徑向>縱向。另外各樹種之真比重隨炭化最高溫度升高而增加。 |
英文摘要 | This paper was designed to investigate that the carbonization of wooden residual including processing residual of wood process plants such as small solid wood blocks and wood-based materials, in order to develop new utilization of charcoal. It could be considered as material for hygroscopic-conditioning, water purification, thermal insulation, soil improvement, and electromagnetic shielding, etc, to reach the objectives of "r3esiduals recover as resource". Japanese Cedar (Cryptomeria japonica), China-fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata), Western hemlock (Tsuga spp.), Red oak (Quercus rubra), Fortune paulownia (Paulownia fortunei), and Taiwan acacia (Acacia confuse) were used in the study and carbonized in furnace under various carbonization temperature ranged from 500℃ to 1,100℃. These charcoal products were studied on specific gravity, charcoal yield, shrinkage, and specific gravity of charcoal substance. Results were retain ratio of specific gravity of charcoal increased with specific gravity increasing of different species, and specific gravity of charcoal increased with carbonization temperature increasing. Charcoal yield decreased with carbonization temperature increasing. Shrinkage of charcoal increased with the carbonization temperature increasing except Japanese cedar. The relationships among three directional shrinkage of charcoal were tangential shrinkage> radial shrinkage> longitudinal shrinkage. And the specific gravity of charcoal substance increased with the carbonization temperature increasing. |
