英文摘要 | Based on a nonlinear RTP model, low order linear models are derived. The model structures offer physical insight into design and control of RTP systems. Internal model control (IMC) is employed for the design of multivariable temperature controller. The characteristics of the RTP temperature cycle lead to a PID type of controller with double integrators followed by a static decoupler. Since the steady-state gains and time constants vary simultaneously with temperature by the same factor, a simple nonlinear compensation scheme is derived. This results in a very simple and yet effective nonlinear compensation element. In an operating environment, system identification becomes an integral part of control system design. The derived model structures offer insights for the input design in system identification. An identification procedure is proposed to find the nominal process model as well as nonlinear compensation elements. Results show that effective identification and control can be achieved based on insights gained from model structures. |
