英文摘要 | Robert M. Hutchins was the major scholar of perennialism. His thoughts of education were opposed to the experimentalism, the popular educational thought of America in 1930s to 1940s, and he also proposed his ideas of education which were critical to the shortcoming and weakness of the temporal education in America. Besides, he put his educational thoughts into practice when he was the principal of Chicage University. This article adopts the literature survey method to investigate the thoughts of Hutchins. Finally, form this paper, we gets four major apocalypses in our college education: the purpose of education, the curriculum of education, the occupational education and the education of teachers training. |
