中文摘要 | 本研究旨在瞭解大專學生自尊、情緒智慧及成功期望之情形,並比較不同性別,不同學校類型大專生在自尊、情緒智慧及成功期望之差異情形,以及探討自尊、情緒智慧與成功期望之關係。本研究系採問卷調查法,以南區九所大專院校學生為研究對象。經調查分析,主要研究發現為大專生在自尊、情緒智慧及成功期望之表現尚佳,惟情緒管理仍有待加強。其次,女生在同理心上表現優於男生。再者,大學生在情緒自我覺察力與成功期望上表現優於二技生與二專生,而在自尊與自我激勵上僅優於二專生。另外,自尊、情緒智慧與成功期望具有高度相關,尤其除情緒智慧量表中情緒管理外,其餘均是預測成功期望之良好指標。據此,本研究建議大專院校宜加強情緒管理教育,重視男生的同理心訓練及加強二專生的心理輔導,並提昇大專生的自尊與情緒智慧。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study was to examine the self-esteem, emotional intelligence, and expectancy for success of college students. Another purpose was to compare the gender and school type differences with respect to the self-esteem, emotional intelligence, and expectancy for success of college students. It was also to explore the relationships of expectancy for success to self-esteem and emotional intelligence. This study adopted a questionnaire survey method and the research subjects were randomly selected from nine colleges and universities of southern area of Taiwan. Through investigation and analyzing, the findings indicated that the college students demonstrated greater self-esteem, emotional intelligence, and expectancy for success, but less emotional management. Also, female students exhibited greater empathy than male students. Then, university students showed greater self-esteem, emotional self-awareness, self-motivation, and expectancy for success than two-year technology and two-year college students. In addition, self-esteem and emotional intelligence were highly correlated with expectancy for success and beside emotional management, the other variables were the best predictors of expectancy for success. Based on these findings, the suggestions for the colleges are to place importance on the education of emotional management, the empathy training of the male students, the guidance of two-year college students, and enhancing the self-esteem and emotional intelligence of college students. |
