英文摘要 | This paper attempts to inquire into the basic elements of the Marquis de Sade's ethics. It is undeniable that the question of the elements of his ethics has caused serious debates between different ideas, writers and philosophers during the Age of Enlightenment on the one side and the apologists on the other. Incontestably, Sade participated in these debates himself through his novels. If we see him as an anti-enlightenment philosopher, some crucial questions must be asked: What do the ethics of Sade consist of? How does an ethic of cruelty and excess correspond to sadism in our language? In this paper, we treat the question of his ethics from three different angles: intensivism, solipsism and antiphysism. The first aspect consists in demonstrating that it is only by the extraordinary, the unusual and the unexpected that the human being can feel a real sense of existence; the second aspect indicates the solipsism which glorifies the absolutism of individuality, according to the principle that other people are only instruments to pleasure; thirdly, antiphysism, which supports all the sensuality opposed by Christianity, etymologically refers to anything related to anti-nature, and believes homosexuality, even the most pernicious desires to be natural. |
