中文摘要 | 嵩岩石劈理為臺灣中央山脈板岩層與大南澳片岩中最普遍的次生地質構造,發達的岩石劈理常使原生岩層面、原生沉積構造及化石等遭到破壞,且易和岩層層面混淆,造成中央山脈地質圖測製及研究工作的困難。再者,岩石劈理為岩石受到變形作用的產物,常伴隨褶皺生成,由岩石劈理的分析可以得知岩石受變形形用時的溫壓環境及應變情形,也可推知央央山脈岩層的變形成式的與規模,可應用於地質圖測製上。此種情形下,岩石劈理之研究為解析中央山脈複雜地質構造的一重要關鍵,對於了解中央山脈地質佳推論臺灣地質演變史將有所幫助。 本研究以中中山脈大禹嶺地區變形岩中中岩石劈理的幾何形態與微視構造特性之分析,來了解臺灣中央山脈岩石劈理的生成過程。經由劈理形態分析結果得知,岩石劈理的形態和種類主要和岩石的性質及變形條件有關;直接說就是和其所屬之岩石地層單位與構造階層有關。由於岩性不同或曾受不同次數的構造運動,或變形時所處之構造階層不同,故所造成的岩石劈理就形態而言亦不相同。若就岩性和單一組劈理之關係而言,在變形砂屑岩中多以無前理的間距劈理為主;而在變形泥質岩中則常以連續劈理為主,即所謂的板狀劈理。而此二者之互層中往往出現夾皺劈理,故在野外辨識岩性時,岩石劈理的形態變化是是很好的指標。 |
英文摘要 | Rock cleavage is the most common planar structure in the Slate Formation and the Tananao schist of the Central Range of Taiwan. It is believed that geologic mapping on the Central Range is more difficult than in the other areas of Taiwan for the rock cleavage developed well in the Central Range. More efforts to conduct extensive studies of rock cleavage and detailed geologic mapping in the key areas of the Central Range are required before we will be able to understand the geology of the entire Central Range of Taiwan. Detailed microstructure study of rock cleavage in the Central Range of Taiwan, the processes of such as mass transfer, pressure solution, rigid body rotation, and recrystallization operated independently, or in some combination during the rock cleavage development. The relative importance of these mechanisms of the cleavage development depends on the different composition and the pre-existing fabric of rocks. It is useful to distinguish or identify the lithologic units and the geologic structures in geologic mapping of the Central Range. |
