中文摘要 | 本研究為個案系列報,目的在調查宜蘭東岳社區痛風患者飲食習慣與行為特性,了解痛風的相關危險因子在此地分佈的情形。我們於1999年8月逐戶以問卷訪問東岳痛風患者有關居住環境與痛風發作前的行為、飲食習慣、疾病處理特性以及對痛風認知等資料。受訪者是否有痛風疾病由受訪者自己提報,但痛風的認定則必須有醫院醫師的臨床診斷為標準。結果獲得41位痛風患者的資料。資料顯示東岳的痛風患者經常食用高嘌呤食物者有11.7%;經常食用中嘌呤食物者有15.9%。而有51.2%痛風患者每天或經常喝酒,僅12.2%的人不喝酒;飲酒種類以啤酒與米酒最多,而每次飲用啤酒最普遍的量為3~5瓶(600 mL/瓶),米酒最普遍的量為2瓶。同時高達85.4%的痛風患者痛風發作前有飲酒,因此飲酒可能是當地最值得重視的外在環境因素。本研究認為透過適當的營養及衛生教育,改變固有大量飲酒的習慣,應是減少當地痛風盛行最迫切需要的措施。 |
英文摘要 | A case study report series was used to investigate the dietary habits and behavioral characteristics of gout patients in Taugyue community according to current nutrition guidelines in Taiwan. We visited gout patients door to door on August 1999, and used a questionnaire to inquire about demographic variables, resident environment characteristics, previous behaviors prior to acute gout attacks, dietary habits, gout management methods and the recognition of goutian arthritis. The gout disease was self-reported by the subjects and identified by a practical doctor. The results showed that 11.7% and 15.9% of the 41 gout patients ingested high and middle purine dishes frequently. In addition 51.2% of the patients often drank alcoholic beverages. Beer and rice wine were their major alcoholic beverages. Three to five bottles (600 mL/bottle) of beer and about two bottles of rice wine were the most frequent quantities consumed. The majority (85.4%) of the gout patients had consumed alcoholic beverages before a gout attack. From the above evidence, more importance should be placed on drinking behavior in Taugyue. This study suggests that reducing gout prevalence is urgent and that drinking behavior must be changed using appropriate nutrition and health education in this community. |
