中文摘要 | 今日中華電信如此龐大的企業組織面對激烈競爭的市場,各個維運支援系統 ( Operating Support Systems, 簡稱 OSS )皆扮演著提昇多元化電信業務競爭力的關鍵 角色。無論是屬於電信管理網路( Telecommunications Managed Network,簡稱 TMN )觀 念中的服務管理層( Service Management Layer, 簡稱 SML )、 網路管理層( Network Management Layer, 簡稱 NML )、元件管理層( Element Management Layer, 簡稱 EML )或網路元件( Network Element,簡稱 NE )層等維運系統,通常都有其各別發展背景, 且具異質性軟、硬體作業平臺、網路及資料庫等。於是,絕大多數的系統之間往往面臨管理 與整合異質環境的問題,軟體研發人員因而需要採取開放性的運作機制,以期資訊系統能具 備諸如跨平臺與跨程式語言等特性。近來,針對新一代多層( Multi-Tier )應用系統所採 用的分散式物件運算架構( Distributed Object Computing Architecture )技術開始萌 芽,並已逐漸發展成熟,被考慮用來解決所面臨的難題。事實上,電信維運支援系統之開發 技術早已進展到物件導向的時代,而經由物件導向觀念的推廣應用,近年來已出現積極主導 有關規範軟體物件在網路上傳遞及彼此相容的標準, 即美國物件管理協會( Object Management Group, 簡稱 OMG )所定義的共通物件需求中介架構( Common Object Request Broker Architecture,簡稱 CORBA )標準,導致一般資訊系統的軟體元件可如同 硬體一樣的快速發展。 本文將以此物件標準規範說明 OSS 的各軟體元件不僅只需提供單純 功能,並能重複使用,且系統與系統間之介面的定義也可以非常清楚,讓專業化的分工成為 可能,進而組裝成具有完整功能的維運系統。 |
英文摘要 | Each Operating Support System (OSS) was playing the key character on upgrading the competence of diversiform telecommunication businesses for such a huge enterprise organization, ChungHwa Telecom., to confront the intensely competitive market of today. Whether OSS were pertained to Service Management Layer (SML), Network Management Layer (NML), Element Management Layer (EML) or Network Element (NE) layer in Telecommunications Managed Network (TMN) architeture, they usually existed in distinct developing backgrounds and had heterogeneous operating platforms of software and hardware, network and database. Thus there were always faced with the problems for management and integration of heterogeneous environments among most OSS, and software developers needed to adopt the working architecture so that the information systems would be provided with the special properties such as cross-platform, cross-language, etc. Recently, the technology of Distributed Object Computing Architecture that was used for Multi-Tier application system in new generation started sprouting, and gradually expanded with maturity to be taken into consideration for solving those difficult problems. In fact, the developing technology of OSS has made numerous progress in the object-oriented generation. Through the popularization of object-oriented concept, there appeared Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA) defined by Object Management Group (OMG) which extremely led the way to model the compatible standard about transmission of software object on network in the past several years. The standard resulted in the rapid development of software component for general information systems just like that of hardware. Based on the CORBA standard, this article will explain that every software component for OSS need not only supply simple function, but can be reused. And the definition of the interface among different systems may be also very clear to make division of professional labor possible for constituting OSS with complete functions. |
