中文摘要 | (一)本試驗為明瞭甘藷品種、植期及割蔓對於莖葉及塊根收量之影響,期獲得夏作或冬作之適當割蔓次數及適當品種。 (二)本試驗由民國43年4月開始至46年4月止,每年夏冬兩期於嘉義農業試驗分所分別舉行。田間設計用裂區排列法,重覆四次,主區為割蔓,分割蔓四、三、二次及不割蔓等四處理。副區為品種,用K25、K2、K140、C162、臺農25號及臺農31號等六品種。 (三) 甘藷在本省為養豬事業最重要之作物,不但塊根為主要飼料,莖葉也是養豬最好的青飼。因為莖葉內含有多量礦物質、粗蛋白及粗纖維等營養成分。 (四)割蔓對莖葉及塊根收量之影響,在品種間、割蔓間及品種與割蔓之交感等,無論夏作或冬作差異均極顯著。 (五)夏作割蔓次數增加,對莖葉收量有遞增之趨勢;冬作割蔓對於莖葉收量,割三次為最高限。 (六)割蔓次數增加對於塊根收量,無論夏作或冬作均呈遞減趨勢,尤以冬作遞減量為多。 (七)割蔓次數增多對於莖葉有效率,不論夏作或冬作均逐漸增高,但均以割三次者莖葉有效率為最高,割四次之莖葉有效率與割三次幾無差異。 (八)莖葉方面,無論夏作或冬作,品種間對於割蔓處理似有不同反應,夏季以短蔓種臺農25號最適宜,冬季則以長蔓種K25為佳。 (九)目的兼收莖葉和塊根,最後一次割蔓,夏作不宜遲過插植兩個月之後,冬作不宜遲過插植一個月至一個半月之後。 |
英文摘要 | 1. This experiment was made to determine the proper clipping times of sweet potato under summer and winter cultivations so that the highest yields of tubers and feeding vines would be obrained. 2. This experiment was carried out at Chiayi Agricultural Experiment Station Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute during 1954 to 1957. Six sweet potato varieties were planted in each summer and winter respectively. This experiment design was a randomized split-plot with four replications including non, two, three and four times of clipping as main plots and six sweet-potato varieties, K25, K2, K140, C162, Tainung No.25 and Tainung No.31 as subplots. 3. Sweet potato is the most important crop for feeding hog in Taiwan. Not only is the tuber a main hog-feed but the fresh vine is likewise a very nutritious green feed for hogs. 4. The differences among the vine and tuber production of the sweet potato varieties; the effects of the different times of clipping and the interactions of varieties ×clipping treatments are highly significant whenever in both summer and winter. 5. It is a tendency that the more increasing the times of clipping the more yields of the fresh vine in the summer season; but the vine yields will reach the highest limits under three times of clipping in winter. 6. In regard to the tuber production there is a contrary tendency, when the clipping times increased the tuber yields are decreased in either summer or winter season. The amounts of tuber yield which were decreased by means of increasing the clipping times in the winter plantation are more than that in the summer plantation. 7. The percentage of the useful fresh vine increased gradually as the times of clipping had been increased, whenever in both summer and winter seasons. Three times of clipping usually made the highest limits of the percentage of the useful vine in both summer and winter seasons, but the percentages of the useful vine between the third and fourth times of clipping show little difference. 8. The responses of varieties to the clipping treatment more or less occurred in the yields of fresh vine whenever in summer or winter season. Tainung No.25, the short vine type varioty is very adapted to be cultivated in the summer season, while K25, the long vine type variety is the best one to be cultivated in the winter season. 9. In order to obtain the highest production of the vine and tuber altogether, the last clipping should never be made later than two months after planting in the summer, but in the winter, the best production would only be obtained when the last clipping carried out one or one and half months after planting. |
