| 英文摘要 | 1. Some experiments of the frequency of cultivation with tractor were carried out in two seccessive crop-years, 1957/58 and 1958/59, in the district of Hu-Wei Sugar Factory Centre on sandy soil, sandy loam, heavy clay soil, saline soil and red soil at Lung-Ten, Hu-Wei, Tow-Liu, Pei-Kang and Ta-Lin respectively. An extensive study was made to compare the cane yield in the various kind of soils as mentioned above. 2. On the sandy or sandy loam soil, the yield of cane stalk was slightly boosted to 1 to 3 per cent by applying 4 or 5 cultivations during the entire growth period. It is not significant in comparison with the check--non-cultivation plot. 3. The application of 4~5 cultivations increased 7.84~10.9% cane stalk yield on the heavy clay soil and 7~11.35% on the red soil. In both cases, the increment in yield is significant in comparison with the check. 4. On the saline soil, the application of 4~5 cultivations increassed the yield of cane stalk to slightly more than 2% only. Since the saline soil at Pei-Kang is classified as a heavy clay soil, this experimental result is owing to the effect of salt spot in the test block which makes the index of increased yield insignificant. The excessive greater standard deviation of mean (SX= 39.64) in this experiment clears the fact. |
