中文摘要 | 本研究旨在探討經鍍銅處理後之光纖的銲接性,以增加光纖在感測方面之應用範 圍。本研究以無電解法及連續電鍍法將光纖表面鍍銅、鍍層厚度為5-7μm,並以軟銲法進行 銲接性研究,以獲取最佳銲接參數。 本實驗之試樣以光學顯微鏡金相試驗,掃描式電子顯微鏡微觀檢查及EDX成份分析等獲 得資料。研究結果發現,利用軟銲法可成功地將表面鍍銅處理之耐熱光纖,銲托於構造銅或 金屬構件之上,而且銲接結果表面美觀、填充金屬無氣孔、裂痕等現象。本研究結果可利用 在將鍍銅光纖直接銲接於金屬構件並埋置於混凝土之土木建築物或金屬構造物內,以建立土 柄建築物的有感結構(smart structure),藉以偵測內部受力狀況,以防止潛在災變之發生。 |
英文摘要 | This study aims at testing the weldability of copper-coated optical fibers, in order to expand the applications of optical fibers to the scope of structure monitoring. The optical ribers used on this study were coated with copper at 3~5 μm thick by the PVD freatment. The nuggest welds were examined at optical microscope, scanning electronic microscope and EDX apparatus. The result showed that the soldering process can successfully joint copper-coated optical fibers to steel structures. The weld appearance was excellent. No cracks or prosity defects were found. The study makes a contribution on applying welding technology to develop a self-sensable smart structure by the embedding copper-coated optical fibers. A smart structure can detect the material stresses within a concrete or a steel structure, and prevent the occurance of possible disasters. |
