中文摘要 | 在大比例尺環境中的路徑導引一直是令人感到興趣的問題,近年結合電子地圖 與全球定位系統提供圖面式路徑指引的汽車導航逐漸成為標準配備,然而口語化、文字式 的路徑指引事實上也被大量應用在人類的日常生活中。本文提出一個結合人類空間知識所 產生的空間關係判斷與空間資料庫所提供的道路及地標資訊來自動化產生文字式路徑指引 的機制,期望建立一個更為接近人類空間行為決策的溝通方式。經過物體維度及空間關係 種類的分析討論,我們發展一個可在電腦上實際運作的機制,並初步驗證這個架構在處理 較為單純路網架構中的路徑指引是可行的,未來的研究則包括對路徑描述資訊的綜合歸納 及複雜路網情形的處理。 |
英文摘要 | Route navigation in a large-scale environment has been an interesting issue over the years. Recently with the aid of GPS, commercial car navigation system has gradually become standard equipment. Such systems provide route directions in a graph-based format. Alternatively, voice- and text-based route directions are used in human daily navigation quite often as well. This paper proposes an approach to build a mechanism that can integrate spatial relations derived from human spatial knowledge and road/ landmark information acquired from spatial database to automatically generate text-based route directions. The goal is a better communication method that is closer to human spatial behaviors. The approach is based on the in investigation of the dimensionality of geometric objects and their associated spatial relations that may be used in route directions and is proved to be implementable in computers. Preliminary result indicates such an approach works fine with simple road network structure. Further research may include tasks such as the reorganization of output message and the incorporation of human spatial knowledge dealing with complicated situations. |
