中文摘要 | 本研究旨在探討男護生實習產科病房之角色緊張,並進一步分析影響其角色緊張 的相關因素。採調查研究法,以就讀於國內四所護理系之男護生為研究對象,共收集有效問 卷 70 份。將所得資料以百分比、平均數、標準差、相關分析、t 檢定及逐步複迴歸加以統 計分析,其結果顯示:男護生實習產科病房角色緊張次量表之平均得分,由高至低依序為: 角色不一致、角色曖昧、角色衝突及角色負荷過重。在相關性方面,指導老師的態度、護理 人員的態度與四類角色緊張次量表及總量表均呈顯著相關。 以 t 檢定探討不同屬性的男護 生在角色緊張上的差異性,結果僅「對護理的興趣」在角色負荷過重( p<0.05 )、角色衝 突( p<0.05 )及總量表( p<0.05 )方面有顯著差異,且「沒興趣」的得分皆高於「有興 趣」者。指導老師的態度、產婦及家屬的態度、對護理不感興趣及護理人員的態度等四個變 項可以解釋男護生角色緊張總變異量的 58%。本研究顯示男護生在以女性為主的產科病房實 習,確易產生不等程度的角色緊張。研究的結果可作為護理教師在設計課程及輔導男護生實 習產科病房時之參考。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study was to explore the role strain, and the correlated factors of male nursing students who have finished the clinical practice in the obstetric ward. We adopted an investigative research approach, taking 70 male nursing students from nursing departments within Taiwan's 4 colleges as the subjects. The data were analyzed in many different ways including percentage, means, t-test, correlation and stepwise regression. The results showed that the rankings of the subscale of role strain on the male nursing students from high to low were role incongruity, role ambiguity, rold conflict and role overload. The attitude of teachers, the attitude of nursing staff, four categories of role strain and total scale all showed significant difference on role overload (p<0.05), role conflict (p<0.05) and total scale (p<0.05), while the group "not interested in nursing" scored higher than " the interested" ones. In addition, stepwise regression indicated that the attitude of teachers, the attitude of postpartum women and family, not interested in nursing and the attitude of nursing staff could explain 58% of the variance in male nursing students' role strain. The result revealed that male nursing students practicing in a female-dominated obstetric ward could surely produce different levels of role strain. The findings may provide a useful reference for the nursing teachers in curriculum designing and counseling male nursing students practicing in obstetric wards. |
