英文摘要 | Five xanthine bronchodilators, caffeine, diprophylline, proxyphylline, theobromine and theophylline, were simultaneously assayed in traditional Chinese medicine by high performance liquid chromatography on a Merck RP-select B column. The chromatographic method was carried out using isocratic elution with methanoi and 1% acetic acid (15:85, v/v). 8-Chlorotheophylline was used as an internal standard and detection was at 270 nm. Calibration curves of the five adulterants were constructed in the range 8-160 ug/mL for theobromine and 10- 200 ug/mL for the others. Their correlation coefficients ranged from 0.99993 to 0.99997. Extracts were treated by Supelclean C-18 before HPLC analysis. The recoveries of the adulterants in three traditional Chinese medicinal prescriptions were also studied. Diprophylline and/or theophylline were found and assayed from traditional Chinese medicines by combined solid-phase extraction and HPLC. |
