中文摘要 | 本實驗的目的乃欲重新評估臺灣豬繁殖及呼吸症候群 (Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome,PRRS) 病毒致病作用。 實驗中將五十隻四週齡無特定病源豬分 成五組,第一組接種 1ml 的 10 �� TCID �t /ml PRRS 病毒, 觀察十天後,予以解剖; 第 二組接種等量的 PRRS 病毒,十天後,再接種 lml 的 10 �� TCID �t /ml 假性狂犬病病毒 , 再七天後,予以解剖; 第三組接種等量的 PRRS 病毒, 十天後, 再接種 2ml 的 10 �� GFU/ml 豬霍亂沙門氏桿菌 (Salmonella cnolerasuis),再五天後,予以解剖; 第四組僅接 種 lml 的 10 �� TCID �t /ml 假性狂犬病病毒, 七天後, 予以解剖; 第五組僅接種 2ml 的 10 �� CFU/ml 豬霍亂沙門氏桿菌,五天後,予以解剖。實驗結果顯示,接種 PRRS 病毒 後,豬隻並沒有出現明顯的症狀,解剖後,僅見輕度的間質性肺炎,第二組和第四組以及第 三組和第五組的死亡率並無明顯的差異 "。 因此推論,PRRS 病毒的致病力並不強,臨床上 它會加重假性狂犬病或沙門氏桿菌症之嚴重性的說法頗令人懷疑。 |
英文摘要 | The pathogenicity of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) virus isolated from Taiwan's pig farms was studied. Fifty 4-week-old specific pathogen free pigs were divided into 5 groups of 10 pigs in each pen. Pigs in the first group were inoculated intranasally with 1 ml PRRS virus (10 �� TCID �t /ml, SDOW 17 strain), and sacrificed 10 days later. Pigs in the second group were first inoculated with PRRS virus, followed 10 days later by intranasal inoculation with 1 ml of pseudorabies (Pr, 10 �� TCID �t /ml) virus, and then sacrificed 7 days later. Pigs in the third group were first inoculated with 1 ml PRRS virus followed 10 days later by intravenous injection with 2ml Salmonella cholerasuis (Sc, 10 �� CFU/ml) and then sacrificed 5 days later. Pigs in the fourth group were inoculated intranasally with only 1 ml Pr virus, and sacrificed 10 days later. Pigs in the fifth group were inoculated intravenously with 2 ml Sc, and then sacrificed 5 days after inoculation. The pigs infected with only PRRS virus did not show any clinical sign. In pathologic examination, the only lesion was mild interstitial pneumonia. There was no significant difference (p>0.05) in the mortality between the second and the fourth groups as well as between the third and the fifth groups. From this study, it can be considered that the pathogenicity of PRRS virus isolated from Taiwan's pig farms is not very virulent. Moreover the exacerbation of this virus to secondary infection ofsalmonellosis or pseudorabies infection is also doubtful. |
